VasoMoto
An open-source pressure servo controller and peristaltic pump for precise intravascular pressure control in isolated cannulated blood vessels.
Features & Capabilities
VasoMoto enhances the functionality of VasoTracker, giving automatic control of intraluminal pressure in cannulated blood vessels. Many other uses are also possible (e.g. maintaining pressure in other organs).
Active Pressure Control
VasoMoto monitors intravascular pressure via a flow-through pressure transducer, and operates a 3D-printed peristaltic pump to maintain pressure at a user-defined level (0 - 200 mmHg).
Programmable Control
VasoMoto is compatible with VasoTracker software - allowing custom pressure protocols and automated control over pressure cycles, ramps, and steady states for precise vascular studies.
Real-time data Logging
VasoMoto continuously streams data to VasoTracker software, providing real-time data logging of pressure dynamics, enabling users to analyze trends and make informed adjustments during experiments.
Powered by ItsyBitsy
Powered by the Adafruit ItsyBitsy microcontroller, offering flexibility for users to modify and customize control protocols via the Arduino IDE. This open-source platform enables easy programming and adjustment.
